Richard was part of the team to FINALLY get the Renovation Plan (Preservation Ordinance) approved by City Council – allowing homeowners the option to “add on” square footage to their homes instead a complete demolition and max build out.

Voted to have So Cal Edison remove all telephone poles along Sepulveda in both directions as well as south side of Rosecrans
Voted to support a new Residential Construction Officer position in 2009 to oversee all construction projects in the city and oversee the enforcement of construction hours and adjacent neighbor issues. This program won a state award for its unique creation!
Voted to create “two” new dog parks in the city so that residents and dogs could socialize!
